Welcome to the home of Pajula Golden Retrievers. We are based in Appleton, Warrington, Cheshire and have owned Golden Retrievers since 2001 when we acquired our first Golden, Harvey (Hoybean Sergeant Major), to help our youngest son who has learning difficulties. Harvey was a fantastic dog who sadly passed away prematurely at the age of 8 but not before he had got us hooked on the breed.

In 2010 we got Ben, who shares the same Great Grandparents as Harvey, and a year later we felt that Ben needed a 'friend' so we got Charlie. Harvey was Charlie's Great Uncle.

Whilst researching pedigrees in 2012 we came across Stranroph Squandron Leader who we thought was the most beautiful dog and when we discovered that a bitch in Spain had been fertilised by him using AI we felt we had to have one of her puppies and so it is that we got Rosie in April 2013.

So, we currently have 3 Goldens, Ben, Charlie and Rosie, all of whom are first and foremost our loving and loyal family pets.

We started showing with Charlie in 2012 when he was 15 months old and we were 'over the moon' when he won 3 x 1st places at his first Championship show; the GRC at Stoneleigh. He has continued to do well since winning his first CC and then Best of Breed at the Leeds Championship show in 2013 under Pam Blay and Sue Towers.

Rosie is also doing well and we were thrilled when she achieved qualification for Crufts in her first year.

We are sometimes asked about our Affix. Well, it is, quite simply, borne out of Paula's name, Paula Jane...simples!
